Softball Tonight

Played softball tonight, there was lots of running. I had an inside the park home run, so that was pretty sweet. But anyways, 5-5 with a hr, double, and 3 singles. Then I just ran around in the field quite a bit playing 3b and CF.

Fun night though as Shari was there and we played well for the first 3-4 innings of the first game. After that, we just disregard the runs scored by the other team.

One more swim

I swam again this morning. I got another half mile in before heading to work. It was much better than the swim last night. Tomorrow I will take the day off and play softball instead.

Night Swimming

Tonight, I decided that drinking tea and then swimming is not such a good idea. I think I had a vanilla chai around 8pm, then went to the gym at about 10:15. I swam half a mile and decided that I was gonna need to call it quits. Tomorrow I am planning on waking up early and getting another swim in.

Bike and Run

Got a helmet today. I can prolly post pictures later. But anyways, completed nearly a 5 mile ride and a 1.26 mile run.

A little difficult for the first day of both but I I got it done! :)

Bike updates

I am officially signed up for the tour de BBQ in kansas city. I just picked up my packet and am doing the 35 mile race next saturday.

Now I am on my way to pick up a helmet, some gloves, possibly a camelback, a bike rack, seat bag, spare tire and pump. Then I might be able to ride today! Otherwise I guess I will just have to stick with the swimming/running

Day 1

Today I bought a specialized road bike.






I am going to start training for a triathlon and keeping track of my weight along the way. I weighed in at just over 215 lbs today.

To start off, I swam 500m and then ran 1.42 miles on the treadmill at 24 hour fitness.
